Painted Skates!

One of my favorite things to paint on during the holiday season is old skates! This painted treasure found a new home at the first show of the season!

I have learned over the years to paint in multiples for selling so I also did this skate, but I always like to make them a bit different. This skate was a bit larger so I added the little snowman (also a Sue Jernigan design) and changed up the floral decorations.

Prim Hand Saws

I have been wanting to do some "cute" saws for a while now, but I wasn't sure if there was a market for them. These saws have a lot of character to them! Notice how this one must have had the tip broken off and someone somewhere along the way rounded the bottom off. Works for me!

Well the first saw sold and got quite a lot of attention, so I decided to paint a few more. Each one is a bit different just like the hand saws.

I really like how the blade itself is still visible. I am glad that they will be treasured by new owner's this holiday season.
